I'm a college student, and my school offers almost every language under the sun. I know the academy offers Arabic, Chinese, French, German, Japanese, Russian, Portuguese, and Spanish so which one should I take that will make my application look better?

Take the language that interests you, and one in which you believe you will do well.

The nice folks at USAFA will consider your preferences, but ultimately, they decide what language you will study. Don't worry about it.

Agree with fencers mom...DS had 4 yrs German in primary school IB program and 3 years of very basic Chinese in high school. USAFA put him in German for 2 semesters.

I never knew that thank you for telling me! I guess I'll just take spanish cause I took 4 years of it in high school, and I will probably have the easiest time getting an A.

My four-years-of-high-school-Spanish son was assigned Portuguese. Do not presume.
