What Uniform will West Point Cadets wear

While there last week, I asked our tour guide (a Yuk gal) about this and she said the Class of '09 (Firsties) were issued the new Blues to change into after Graduation this year and, the only class at West Point to wear the Grey "as for class" jacket this year, are Firsties. They were the last class issued the grey jacket, all other classes wear the black jacket. Makes it easy to identify Firsties this year.

We had great West Point weather to see this grey and black jacket, last Wednesday it snowed and Thursday it was sunny and almost 70! Made up for the rain the next two days tough lol

I will be flying to New York tomorrow and staying in USMA for the overnight visit Thursday-Friday. I'll ask someone while I'm there.

Hey America's Finest, where did you stand or sit while waiting to be picked up by your Cadet? We sat in the 1956 room, up front by the TV, and then moved into the hall across the street after the fire drill.
