    Hello,

I may be wrong, but I believe that the earliest LOA's are seen in the beginning of November. Remember, LOA's (although overly popular) don't really mean much. Very few people get them, but that doesn't mean that they won't get an appointment.

    Later,

    Brian

If you go back to about 2 weeks ago there was a thread titled "Early LoAs". USMA and USNA do their LoAs much earlier than USAFA (Oct/Nov)

You can start seeing LOA's in October. But as BSA mentioned, they are far and few between. You have to be one of the WOW (Walk-On-Water) applicants. And then even if you do get the LOA, you still need the nomination. And yes, there have been some who received an LOA and haven't received an appointment. It is rare however. Anyway, continue working the process. Get all the nominations you can. If you get an LOA; great. If you don't; so what. You'll be part of the 95%+ who didn't get one. And remember; "What do they call someone at the academy who had an LOA"? "CADET". Same as all the others. Same as those who received an appointment in November. Best of luck. Mike....

Thanks for the info. It is an athletic thing between AF and Navy. Is going to do verbal after the recruit visits.

You jest, but the way we're going towards doing everything remotely via comm nodes, having World of Warcraft experience may be looked on as highly desirable in the near future.

ALO: "We got to sign this kid up today! Level 14 Wizard! This kids got some dark magic skilz!" :shake:

Got mine in Late October/Early November.

Don't forget to apply to other schools if you get accepted early, and don't slack off.
