I accepted my appointment about a week ago but it still says that those three forms with information are not available. When will these become available? Thanks

Mike

They will trickle into your portal as Admissions has them ready. Be patient -- you will have a lot of forms to fill out, but plenty of time to get them done. Last year they came in three stages / links (if I remember correctly).

Question on the Security Questionnaire. They ask for a work history for 2 years if you are undre 18. If I can recall 20 something years ago, being a student is considered employment. My DS has doen a couple of odd jobs in the summer, but is pretty much a Student. I would apperciate any advice so he can rough out the form since he only has 5 days once it hits his portal.

Your DS will list his school information on one page (dates attended, address, etc) and employment information (dates, title, name/address of employer, etc) on a different page. Don't list "student" under employment -- he is not getting paid to be a student.

One thing he can do ahead of time is get the names & addresses (including phone #) of people who knew him at each of his residences over the last 7 years; someone who knows him at his school (teacher, counselor); and three different people who "know you well" (friends, peers, not relatives). He can ask these people (and give them a heads up) that he will listing them as references (so they can verify info if needed). In all I think my DS listed 5 different adults (scout leaders, teachers, neighbor, parent's friend) that would provide appropriate responses if questioned. To my knowledge none of these people have been contacted to date. I told my DS NOT to list his friends (ie other 18 yr olds) who might think it would be funny to give an incorrect answer. Hope this helps. Your DS should be able to get the form done in 5 days. It's long, but some of the questions are not applicable.
