LOA + Nom does not automatically equal appointment. You still have to be qualified in all areas-scholastic, medical and pass CFA.
Assuming you are, then should be on way sometime soon.
If appointed, you will prob get a call from the MOC that nominated you to tell you.
Good Luck.

My LOA was contingent only on my nomination, so this means there will be an appointment? I believe my congressman doesn't call appointees.

As I posted in another thread, my DD's timeline to appointment...
She received an LOA on October 16th. Nomination in early December that was received by USNA on December 10th. Appointment dated December 17th, arrived in our mailbox on December 29th. DD's BGO did email her on Christmas Eve to tell her that she had been offered an appointment.
I would give it some time to work through the system. Be aware that admissions gets quite busy with applications, CVWs, STEM applications, and NASS applications. Also, you can contact your BGO to confirm your status. Congratulations on the LOA and nom!

Yes, you should be expecting a BFE. Mine took about 3 weeks from nomination(I had a LOA for about a month before the nom) to BFE in the mailbox.

Please DO NOT contact your BGO to ask if you will be receiving an appointment or not. BGOs ARE NOT allowed to tell you this information and more times that not, the information is withheld in our system until a few weeks after the fact. I would check your USNA application page to see when the nomination actually posts there. Based on what other users have said, then give it 2-4 weeks. At that point, if you still have not heard anything, then it might be a good idea to call Admissions to see what is going on.
