When should I expect to hear back from West Point?

If you are 3Q'd with a nomination, then you are on the NWL.
If you are not 3Q'd and do not have a nom, then you are not on the NWL.
 
I have three nominations, but I don't think I'm a 3Q candidate (at least my portal hasn't made me aware of it). What does that mean?

If you look on the home page of your portal on the bottom left in blue is your official correspondence. Look for candidate file qualified. Open and read the pdf.
 
The only official correspondence I have in the bottom left hand side of my portal is something dated 03/27/15.
 
You may want to contact your USMA contact to confirm your file is complete.

USMAPS is for promising candidates that are academically DQ'd, if you're strong academically, sorry. (Never thought I'd say sorry that someone is smart! )
 
I'm absolutely sure that my file is complete. My application overview has green check marks on everything, says "qualified" in the DODMERB box, and has two check marks for my congressional nominations. yet I have no official correspondence on my home page. Does this mean that I was cut and my TWE is in the mail, or have they just not updated my portal yet?
 
There's no way for any of us to know. Please follow the advice above and contact your RC at West Point.

Who is my RC and how do I get their contact info? I'm assuming it's not either of my liaisons officers, please correct me if I'm wrong.
 
I PM'd you your RC.
However, if you have a FFR (you indicate that you have 2), I would contact them first and ask them what they know about the status of your file.

I got in contact with my RC last Thursday because both my district and state coordinator are out for the week. My RC told me that he forwarded my file through the qualification process, but my file still hasn't been updated to notify me whether or not I'm a "3Q" candidate. Does that mean that I didn't meet the standards?
 
can you receive a USMAPS offer after receiving a letter stating that you will not be appointed this year? The rejection letter did not say if I was 3Q or not.
 
So my son got the dreaded letter. I am Proud of how far he made it in the process. Its too bad for he is an awesome young man and will be an amazing leader in life, they lost that opportunity at the USMA. Good luck to all of the other candidates :)
