I realize I am already relatively late, but I am taking the ACT tomorrow morning and scores wont be reported until late December to mid January. These scores will be the last part of my application. would it be more beneficial to submit the best SAT scores I have now and get my application in? I have 650CR and 620M which I thought was relatively low but I don't know if being a month earlier vs partially higher scores are worth it.

The only advantage I can think of right now with submitting your application now is that you are higher on the list to be reviewed during RA. However, if you decide to submit it later, closer towards the deadline, you will not be penalized. You will just be later on the list to be reviewed and receive a notification. Despite this, it is always recommended to submit your application as early as you feel you have the best possible file. If you decide to submit now, I am almost completely sure you can submit new scores. Simply send them to the Academy and contact your Admissions Officer.

If you believe that your ACT scores will be higher and that they will enhance your application, then wait. It is so competitive this year that every little bit will help
