I've finished my application and had the interview in mid January. The portal finally says this

"The NSTC Selection/Placement Office has received your application."

About how much longer would it take for the decision?
Thank you for your time and replies in advance!

I don't think anyone here can tell you. NROTC (any option) is rather secretive and doesn't publish dates for boards or when you will be notified. My son applied NROTC MO and didn't hear (negatively) until April 15. Keep working backup plans and have one ready to pull the trigger on, if needed. We found April 15 was plenty of time for notification as long as you have your backup plans in place. You don't need to finally accept at a college until May 1. Lots of time left.

I apologize for being so late to reply, but I am new here and I am also a NROTC MO hopeful. The commanding officer of my district informed me that the sequester WILL NOT affect the board decisions and that it will be another 7-10 days before results start coming out. Just what i was told

I applied in July and just got my acceptance email (packet on the way) two days ago. For you, I think you'll hear by early May at the latest if i'm correct.

Everyone should hear by late April. They know schools have acceptance deadlines and will march towards that... not to say a few might not hear until early May though I guess.
