Where Are They Now?

...spending most afternoons exploring KC or wrenching on a British roadster.

Triumph?
MG?
Austin-Healey?
Sunbeam?
Don't tell me a Morgan.

Congratulations on Baby Scout!

You have no idea what's in store. Be prepared for the rest of your world to become a tad bit smaller in perspective.

Scout, I hope you have the unisex infant flight suit onesie ready to deploy, complete with mini vintage leather flight jacket. BabyScout. Love it. Stand by for odd-hour-of-the-night posts on SAF.

A '74 TR6. I had two midget projects that I sold on thanks to forthcoming baby.

Congratulations Scouts.
I forgot to mention in my post that DD met a nice Army Officer, of slightly newer rank in the reserves, who will soon be my son-in-law all things willing. They hope to tie the knot prior to deployment in 2017

I'm currently enjoying the best job in the Army.

Oh, and I'm about to have DD or DS. I won't know which until the missile leaves the rail, so to speak.

Assistant Professor of Military Science?

Congratulations in advance to you and Dr. Mrs. Scoutpilot!

Everytime we visit DS in TX we say we are going to stop at In and Out and it has yet to happen, BUT that's okay because we have the true best burger joint...Five Guys! I am only upset with this thread right now because it is lent, and now I want a burger, but it is Friday so I will have to wait until tomorrow to satisfy my craving.
Been to both, sorry but 5 Guys is not as good. When I go to Cali or LV, I always go to In n Out. We have 5 guys here in Florida, I don't think I have visited one the last few years I have lived here.

I don't understand the 5 guys love either. The one cult burger (in TX anyway) that I found to be good is whaddaburger.

Whitecastle, Varsity (Atlanta), etc to me is sub burger king or Wendy's! (heresy, I know)

I don't get the 5 Guys love. Their burgers are really greasy. I have never had a Whaddaburger or a Varsity, but I agree Whitecastle is not very good. I won't eat a burger at Wendy's, McDonalds or Burger King but I love me some In n Out. I had a 3 day trip to Thousand Oaks Ca a few years ago. I ate In n Out at least 1 time each day.

I've had all but Varsity, but Five Guys is best. Their fries, on the other hand, are not good (but they do give you more than enough).

Tommy's is amazing. I grew up on them, In and Out and Fat Burger. Having lived in. The DC area Five Guys can be a hit and miss. The one by my house in Maryland was great. The one by my current house also does a solid job. But I have had some not so good too.

OK... first off, you guys are making me hungry. Stop it!

Second, this may the singularly worst case of a thread hijack that I have seen in some time.

Sorry Grunt....you are right!
Loved Fatburger too! Thanks, Hoops!!

(I probably will be banned for this.).

We might as well all watch Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives together. I traveled a lot throughout 17 states for my last job, and used an app to visit many of those places. My DH laughs at me, because I either like top-tier dining or local gems.

You won't when the moderator is on it wth you!:)

CAPT, I have been revisiting places my wife and kids used to like, and making a list from DDD when I go TAD. I then shamelessly share the pictures of my food with the family. GUILTY!
