I am in the process of applying and currently I am very far along.
I was wondering if anyone knew the postal addresses of the Air Force Academy's place to send transcripts. I would also appreciate the West Point and Annapolis addresses as well if anyone has them.

I apologize for bothering y'all with such a simple question but Google and the actual sites aren't being very useful.
    Thank you in advance

    USAFA Address

I should not remember this by heart, but I this is where I sent my transcripts this past year:

    HQ USAFA/RRS
    2304 Cadet Drive, Suite 2400
    USAF ACADEMY CO 80840

Can't guarantee the suite number, let me check my binder...
Also, let me look at my file for WP (if they haven't closed me out of that yet) and see if I can find anything for you. I know they already closed my Annapolis file, so you'll prob have to wait until you start getting letters from them

    West Point and Annapolis

Taken from the West Point Admissions page (at the very bottom):
    West Point Admissions
    Building 606
    West Point, NY 10996

    And for Annapolis I used:
    Office of Admissions
    United States Naval Academy
    117 Decatur Road
    Annapolis, MD 21402-5017

Good Luck, and when you start getting things (i.e. letters, brochures, etc.) from the Academies, make a binder for everything, especially the letters, and then section them off for each respective Academy. You can include the application process for the MOC's and ANYTHING you get from DODMERB in the event you end up medically DQ'ed (like I was) in this binder as well, just to know that you have a hard copy of everything and to keep yourself organized during your senior year. Just call it the Academy Binder.:thumb:

    TheKid,
HUH? ALO's yet to have 2017 applicants. Today is 6/22, and in the 4 yrs I have been here I don't know of any HS student now deemed applicant. A 2016 candidate not picked up can't open a file until July.

The reason you can't find the address is due to the process.

The SA's are like Ivies, they ask you to apply, you can't decide that you will apply and they have no voice in this decision.

First hurdle PCQ. Clear it and you won't need this forum to give you their address for transcripts. A portal will open from the AFA side. If they don't open it for you, than there you go.

Mail transcripts everyday for a yr., all that you will accomplish is wasting money on a stamp. AGAIN, You need to make it past the PCQ stage.

Best of luck. I am not trying to be rude, antagonistic or condescending, but your comment of " Currently, I am very far along" will place shivers in ever 2017 poster, leading them to believe that since they have yet to become an applicant they are behind the 8 ball.

No problem with me eating Crow, but before I do has the AFA deemed you an applicant for 2017?

    From AFA site:
They are accepting applicants so could be. Last year once AFA opened up their application my son became an "applicant" very quickly, pretty much based on test scores it seemed.

From the message I got in the AFA portal they said that further instructions would be mailed during July. I assume this would have the instructions on where to send transcripts. USNA has already sent its instructions and candidate logins, their portal has instructions on how to proceed from there.

The AFA is the exact same way. They will open the portal for you and from there it is pretty much all on line. I would think the letter they are referring to will have your ALO's name and contact info on it. When in doubt your ALO can also answer any of your questions.

For future reference, understand ALO's are volunteers, this is not their 9-5 job, so sometimes depending on their careers contacting them be more difficult for one candidate compared to another with a different ALO. Additionally, they can have 15 or so applicants too, so it can take a little time to get back to you.
