I am currently a college freshman looking to reapply to USNA to enter the class of 2020. I'm originally from Maryland, where my parents still live, but I've been going to school in Kentucky since August. Because I'm so far from home, coming back to MD for nomination interviews would be extremely difficult, so I was hoping I might be able to apply for ones in KY. However, I'm not sure if that's possible unless I have a permanent address set up here. I was wondering which is the best (or only) option for where I should apply for a nomination? Kentucky, or Maryland?

Sorry, you have to use your permanent residence for the noms. That means Maryland.

Should be MD. MOCs will do telephone interviews. However, I am pretty sure the deadlines for nomination application have already passed.

Thanks for the help! Next year I'll ask about the possibility of telephone interviews.
