I have two nominations so far: one from my congressman and one from my senator.

Which one do I accept, or doesn't it matter?

Im in the same boat as you, Im going to accept both, I dont see why not!
 
I only got one nomination, but thats because they wanted to use the others slots for other people. I think you should only accept one, and give the other slot to someone else.
 
It depends...if they're both for the same academy, of course accept just one. If they're for different academies, accept the one to the academy you want to go to more. Another angle: If you have an LOA for one and it's your first choice, accept it only for that. If you have an LOA for a second choice and not a first, think hard and if you think you can be accepted into your first choice, go for it, but accept both noms for a backup. Finally, if you have no LOAs, accept both as a safety net. That's what I'd do.
 
First off, congratulations on your nominations! You don't really "accept" a nomination. They are more awarded to you by your MOC. If you have an LOA the next thing to arrive in your mailbox will likely be the "big thick envelope!" Your Senators/Congressman can sort out whose nom actually goes to you. Some MOC's will actually fight for a strong candidate because it will look good for them to have a successful cadet. Best of luck!
 
hey did your nomination from the senator appear online in your app status or did it appear in the mail?
 
I got mine in the mail. Nothing has come online yet for me.
 
Same for me. I received both my noms in the mail about a week apart.

Online has nothing yet.
