Good luck to all of the 2013 SWABS and Parents! During R-day weekend, I will be in Charleston visiting my 3/C D who is aboard Eagle for Phase II summer training

Last year we stayed at Holiday Inn New London due to its proximity to CGA. For any parents staying there this year - Holiday Inn has "stay 2 night; get free night promotion" through 6/30 with their Priority Club program now. (so if you stay R day weekend - can stay free one night during Parents Day weekend!) Have to register for promotion before checking out though! A hint... if you are staying there and restaurants are crowded - Outback Steakhouse shares parking lot. You can order a 'takeaway' and eat in your room. Though we didn't do this R-day weekend , my D did choose this option Parents Day weekend so she could be in 'civvies'! (cadets have to stay in uniform when in certain radius of CGA).
