Why is the info portal down?

most likely a DoIT attack (Department of Information Technology) meaning the system's probably down. might as well get used to them now, they usually happen weekly here. could mean something though, who am i to say:wink:
 
Still can't get to the status page...does it shutdown as it gets closer to
d-day
 
I am beginning to think thtas what it is. I have checked the portal literally every day, twice a day..
