Will my MOC change?

    Its nearing the point where everyone is hearing back from USNA and I've heard nothing. I am still extremely hopeful and I find myself daydreaming about an acceptance letter but at this point I must be realistic.

    I live in NY, but among the civilian colleges ive been accepted to so far IIT is my top choice, and that is in illinois.

    So when I apply to USNA for next year do I apply for nominations from NY or from Illinois?

    Does this mean I will have to drive back to NY for my BGO interview as well?

    Depends on the source you got the nomination from - call the office if you got bad news and tell them about your situation. Perhaps they will alter a few rules for you.
