Will my SAT scores hurt me

I will be reapplying for the Air Force Academy next year so I took the June 1 SAT to improve my scores...... Very much to my surprise I received the exact same score as previous! Math:680 and Reading:540 (ouch) which means my reading score will still have the brackets around them that say that this score is low...... did this really hurt my chances or can a good first year semester at college set this off?

Let's be honest and open here...that 540 will hurt/harm/defeat you.

It MUST be raised...try the online Kaplan program, or others..., but it must come up.

The second half of your question is also relevant: A good first semester in college will be HUGE for your package!!!
(still need to raise the score though)
