Wisdom teeth

My son reports to USMAPS on July 23rd. His bottom wisdom teeth are impacted and they are recommending that we have them removed. This is oral surgery. My concern is that having any type of surgery this close to R day will cause problems with DODMERB or the academy. Has anyone else had this or have any suggestions?
 
My DD is starting the USCGA Scholars program July 22. USCGA told all that if they needed dental work done to do it by June 15, in order to allow ample time for recovery and dealing with any complications.

She had four impacted wisdom teeth removed June 10 and did have some complications, which are just about resolved now, almost three weeks later.

Would he have enough time over Xmas break to have this done?
