Does this mean you have been rejected? An offer was never made so what does withdrawn mean. I think I know, why not say not accepted.

Call the academy and speak to an admissions officer right away maybe something got lost in the mail?

Waiting to hear.

I called and left my number and I am waiting to hear. do you know what it says on dodmerb if you have been rejected?

Are you on the DoDMBERB site and in the status area it says "withdrawn" instead of "in process"?

Have you checked your application directly on the west point website to see if there is any information there?

I hope you get the answer soon as I'm sure this is very stressful.

still waiting for answer

I did check west point site and it does not say anything new. Yes, it is hard waiting. I check all of the web sites everyday. We are the guardians for our grandson and we think of him as our son. He received three noms--so there is still hope. Thank you for the help.

goatlady, have you heard anything? I'm sure it was a long night...hang in there.

still waiting

I have not heard from west point, yet. I am surprised they have not called.
I am pretty sure that is the way they let you know "it is over". He still has a chance at usna. He also has a B plan. Thank you for caring.

Doesn't "withdrawn" mean that you have close your file for the particular academy and are no longer applying? I closed my file to USAFA and it showed up as "withdrawn" several days later. If you've never called to tell WP that you will be giving up on the admissions process, then there's obviously a big error with your file. Try calling your regional admissions director as well

From the cadet file, do the contact button and an email will go to admissions. Anytime my son has done that they have gotten back to him quickly.
