Today, I logged into my application and checked the information that was provided from my Summer Seminar Application. My ACT score for Math was listed as a 33; it is actually just a 30. I checked my original Summer Seminar Application and the information I entered was correct. I did not enter the ACT scores on the Academy application. Changes to test scores must be made through an admissions counselor. I don't want to have any false information on my application so I was planning on calling my counselor to change the score.

Since I did not provide the false score I should not be penalized, correct?

This happened to me for my SS app two years ago (on the ACT Math too). Mine went the other way, so I didn't hesitate to call. You could also email your counselor (first.last@usafa.edu). You won't get in any trouble, but I wouldn't just leave it.

Integrity's what it's all about. I got a speeding ticket (unintentional, of course) and called thirty seconds afterwards. Got the appointment two days later. Since this will transfer over to your Academy Application, should you choose to pursue an appointment, you should change it. I wouldn't have felt good getting my appointment without notifying the Academy of my ticket, looking back at it.

You won't get into any trouble. If anything, they'll be grateful you checked up on it. Makes you look good.

I was just going to call my counselor, but I double checked my application before I picked up the phone. The score was changed. It may have just been a glitch in the system or something, but the problem has been resolved.
