I know the function of the Yard Card, but how does the process of establishing a Yard Card work for Plebes and Plebe parents?

Are they automatically issued a Yard Card at the beginning of Plebe Summer and if they are, how do parents obtain that information in order to fund their plebe's card?

Is a Yard Card really necessary? Couldn't the VISA check card that comes with the NFCU checking account serve the same purpose and be used at other locations as well as on the Yard? Just trying to keep it simple. :thumb:
 
Hi,

My DD did not get a yard card. She used her Navy Federal and personal debit cards all year on the yard without a problem.

And yes, there is a coffee bar in the library that sells some type of monster size coffee.
