But do I have the potential to be accepted into the U.S. Air Force Academy?
I'm 19 years old, 5'6 133lbs and my ethnicity and race are hispanic and white respectively.

I had a HS GPA of 3.5-3.6 and graduated 38th in a class of 178.
My SAT scores were 1900, CR- 600, Math- 580, Writing- 720
I went to a very good private college for one year and had a GPA of 3.7 with one Dean's List selection. I also played division I college tennis.

In high school I played baseball and track (lettered in track), but I was not a team captain or a leader in any of the activities I took part in.

I recently took the CFA and performed as follows
Basketball Throw- 57'
Pull-Ups- 13
Shuttle Run- 8.1 (I had around a 7.4 on my first attempt but the administrator could not count it because she made me run a longer distance than what the SR was supposed to cover and timed me at 11s)
Push-Ups- 52
Modified Sit-Ups- 55 (I really hope this isn't a disqualifying score. I have never been good at sit-ups but I was essentially doing real sit-ups because she only counted it if I went ALL the way up to my knees and came back down, and my abs did not hurt at all afterward, when I do crunches on the ball in the weight room I can do 100 straight until I feel some good burning)
One Mile Run- 7:00

I know my local congressman very well and I'm hopeful that I'll be lucky enough to get his nomination.

Do you think I have any shot at this point or did the CFA kill me?

I should also mention that I passed my DODMERB examination and got all the necessary paperwork done (including the 3 teacher recommendations and 3 evaluations)

If you don't mind, I have just a few comments about your profile. Your SAT math is pretty low (probably better if your writing and math were switched), the Academy is an engineering school and they care more about math than writing. If at all possible, I would take the SAT again and just focus on the Math section. Your CFA looks ok, I doubt it will DQ you, but you won't gain any points towards your application with it. You still have a chance, but you really need to pour everything you have into the interviews and rest of the application (and do not slack off your senior year).

Good Luck, I hope we will see each other next year

thanks for the encouragement Luigi59.
good luck to you too bsa07eagle. hope so

I should also mention that my senior year I loaded up with good classes to make up for the lack of honors/AP courses throughout my other 3 years of HS (probably had 4 or 5 in all 3 years prior to my senior year)

So I ended up having AP English, AP Gov & Politics and Honors Pre-Calculus during senior year.

Looks like a typical candidate's stats. Should be quite competative for an appointment. Good luck.

SAT scores

Looks good.. I agree Math is a little low.. try the ACT.. totally different and many people score better on it than they do the SAT, I believe they may super-score...I know Annapolis does. It is worth a shot, do practice tests and try to get the math up.. also I know one of my daughter's friends was asked to take the CFA again to get her score up.. but your AFA admissions counselor can advise you on that.. I did not think it was bad.. pull-ups were awesome.

Good luck to you!
