Hey! I joined about two months ago now, but I never got around to actually introducing myself. My name is Chris Julius and I am a senior here in Columbia, SC. I am applied to 4 of the 5 academies, and got the TWE from Merchant Marine because I did not get the medical waiver. My admissions officer there said that I wouldve gotten in had it not been for that, but I didnt tell him that I didnt get a nom for USMMA, so it all works out My number one is Air Force, but I will take WP, or Navy or any of the prep schools in a heart beat. My dad is a career Army guy, and his XO is a WP grad, so when I got an LoA to Annapolis, he started calling me a squid. Oh well, he'll get over it. But then the LoA thing stopped appearing on my applicant file for Dodmerb so something must have went wrong. Applied for AF and Army ROTC. I am a mailbox stalker at this point and it is driving me mad, and I have that slight feeling that I'm not going to get in. Have a 4.0 unweighted (Air Force calculations) but my mile time was off...about a minute off, and I was under on push and situps (for Air) but I met all the standards (except mile) for WP. Congrats to everyone who has recieved their BFE and congrats to their parents as well!

USNA doesn't simply rescind LOAs on a whim. Just work on completing the conditions and you'll receive the BFE.

DoDMERB removed the "Subagency: NALOA" status sometime in November or December, I think. It disappeared for me, too. That doesn't make the LOA any less valid.
