New here. Son has applied to both the USAFA and USNA and is scheduled to meet with DODMERB's contracted doctors for a physical exam next week. Completed his medical history form to include treatment for mild case of eczema (back of knees and inside of elbows) at age 5 or 6 that resolved and has not returned. Two questions: 1) Is history of eczema presumptively disqualifying but a waiver is automatically granted if there is no history of recurrence after age eight, or is eczema not disqualifying at all if there is no history of recurrence after age eight? (I hope the distinction makes sense); and 2) should I obtain copies of his medical records relating to the eczema treatment and have him provide them to the examining physicians next week, or should I wait until DODMERB makes a further request for them? Thank you.
