Be flexible w/ your plans. Your dd/ds will want to eat and then go to sleep. Check w/ them when you are ready to go. Follow their lead. They deserve to be listened to. Remember though it's parents weekend, it's their Acceptance Wkend. It's a huge deal.

Generally if those sorts of places are still open they are at least passable since there are so mqany restaurants in NYC, LI, & Westchester that if a place is poor it doesn't tend to last very long ..... |

If you have never been to Times Square at night....I'm sorry, but you have to do it!
I grew up about 7 miles outside of NYC and still am amazed. Ferrara's pastries are outstanding and are located on Mulberry Street next to Luna's...one of the best Italian Restaurants I have ever been to. China town is across the street from Little Italy, but it's REAL Chinese food...meaning you probably never ate this kind and can be kind of weird, but very good and VERY cheap. Shopping also good in China town. Midtown has all of the regular department stores. I think it's called the Smokehouse Deli on 47 th street near Radio City. My son just wanted to hang out and do what he wanted to. They haven't been able to do that for a while. He/she will just be happy to see you and do NOTHING! |
