When does the interview take place?

Hello everyone. I am about to submit my application for affrotc and arotc. Will I immediately be contacted for an interview, or will they contact me after I send in all of the "supporting documents" by the deadline in January? Do they need those documents to confirm eligibility before they arrange an interview for you? Thanks.

For AFROTC, once you submit your application, you'll be directed to a page listing all the supporting documents you will need to send in. These include PFA, SAT or ACT scores, personal statement, extracurricular activity sheet certified by your counselor, and your transcript. Once you have sent all of these in and they have been processed, you will be contacted for interview. You can keep track of your status and which documents are still outstanding online.

For Army, it is after you submit the application. It will bring you to a page saying you need to contact a PMS at a school for an interview.

If you want to make the next AROTC board, I would highly suggest that you submit your application quickly and make an appointment. The holidays are approaching and everyone will be going on break soon.

To make the next board you will need everything into cadet command by the 27th of Decemeber. Keep in contact with the ROO or PMS at one of your choice schools, they will be able to confirm that everything is turned in and ready to go. Don't wait until the last day, the schools will need some time to review the application so they can input whether they will accept you and for either a 4 or 3 year scholarship. Good luck!!
