On Facebook, I see some postings mentioning "red dots", and a map of the Academy which includes the Cadet Area. I see red dots and red areas. Anyone know what this is about? (Maybe it's something I'm not supposed to know about)!!!

I don't recall coming across anything of the sort ... could you give us an example (ie. a link) to where you see this?

We asked our son the same thing today since we were also curious. (Keep in mind this explanation is all coming from a 4/c cadet!) Evidently a red dot in general indicates a sexual assault has taken place in that location. And apparently USAFA is very covered in red dots. So the comm is doing a green dot campaign where you get a green dot by doing something to help prevent sexual assault/harassment.
Edited to add that we saw the references on the MLIC (My Life is Cadet) pages on Facebook.

I don't know where that picture came from, but I am not 100% sure of its validity. I could be wrong, but I think someone just took the picture from google earth and put red dots all over it.

The "red dot map" on MLIC is joke. Urbonman is right, someone took a picture from google maps and photoshopped in all the dots.
