Does anybody know the actual percent of people who got there 1st choice job in the military for any of the branches out of The Citadel?

Im pretty sure it all has to do with how well you do at OCS, how good you did academically, and what the needs of the service are.

Not sure what the actual percentage is, but, as with everything else, it's what you put into it. I got my first choice but it took a lot of work.

For Army it is based on a national order of merit list
top 10% get their 1st qualified choice top 20% almost all get their first choice between 20-50% its a bit of a crap shoot below about 67% you are off to National Guard / Reserves. In the end - 65% got their first choice 87% got one of their top 3 choices. (actually more complex than that, need to read) More detail here Last edited by gojack; 21st May 2011 at 02:16 AM. |
