DoDMERB Mess Up?

I received the AROTC scholarship but was medically disqualified for Myopia which is if I have vision worse than -8.00 diopters. However, I wear contacts that treat for -6.00 for my left eye and -6.5 for my right eye. Also, I have a glasses prescription which is correctable for -7.00 for both eyes but is a little strong so I don't wear them often. My waiver is currently pending, but I feel I don't need one in the first place. What should I do?
