Is the liason officer and the regional admissions officer the same? DS was told at SLS that he would be considered for a LOA. Who should he check in with? (he also was assigned a minority admissions liason)

I apologize, I have been speaking to the regional manager. I have reached out to them all however. I do not know who makes the final call, but why not get in front of all of them? Also, how was he assigned a minority liaison officer?

It was on his SLS acceptance letter. There was a list of contacts including the Regional Admissions officer, who met with the candidates from this area at SLS; a local Congressional liason; and an minority admissions liason.

Just to add my 2 cents. My DS did not get an LOA last year. He is currently in Beast with the Class of 2016. As the LOA's become harder to get your test scores have got to be better as well. All things being equal on athletics and leadership the higher your test scores ( say ACT 32 ) the better chance you will have.

I hope someone will confirm this but at SLS I remember hearing that ACT/SAT scores and one's high school 6 semester transcript were the minimum needed for an LOA. I am also nearing my file's completion, just have CFA,candidate statements, and one teacher's letter to finish but from what I remember one's file need not be complete to receive an LOA.
