In today's mail (21 July 2012) was an envelope from DS with 5 brief to VERY brief handwritten notes, including his address!!! He is in the 2nd increment PLC in Quantico - arrival there 8 July 2012. The most recently written note talks a little about some "sleep deprivation," PT at 0530, and losing his "voice screaming today, so I guess that's a good thing." And hitting a new record for the 3 mile on the first PFT (and that sentence ended in an exclamation point)! He also mentioned in that letter he might be receiving his phone to make a call in 2 weeks and we were to "stand by for that." We have been writing a note a day and now can send the thirteen envelopes along!! Yay!!! A very good day in our household I'd say!!
