Default Application Question

It asks if they have attended CFAD, but since they can't go until their senior year obviously that would currently be a NO. If they are scheduled to attend should they check YES?

And while I'm at it... one more! If they had their counselor, math and English teachers submit recommendations for the AIM application, do they have to have those same teachers submit one again? I thought (and could have been WAY confused) that the AIM app acted as a preliminary application so that those things would not have to be repeated?

Either is fine...they should probably just explain in Personal Statement #4 when they're scheduled to attend if they haven't already.

USNA (and maybe other SA's) considers their summer program application as a pre-application, essentially the first step in starting an application for direct appointment, but CGA does not. Not sure if USNA automatically reuses letters of recommendation since I don't think NASS actually requires them...letters of recommendation are also optional for AIM. Our applicants may reuse previously submitted letters of recommendation, although we don't recommend it, but the counselor/instructors will need to resubmit them as the Academy will not "transfer" old material from the AIM record.
