Awesome news, congrats. I was there. It was a nice ceremony and I think everyone was glad it was done. Best wishes and congrats again to your DS.

Ceremony had great speakers and then a reception at the golf course. Spent four days with my DS and just got back. He got a lot of rest and eating. Breakfast at Huddles, lunch at the firehouse, hunter's pub and dinner at number of places. Some long walks discussing the future and the past. Infantry Museum was awesome. DS needed the rest and got it. He put on 12 pounds in the last 7 days. It was great to see him.

DS said it was a great graduation ceremony. Will be going to the Ranger graduation whenever that occurs. Looking forward to going to the Infantry museum. Norwich Dad good luck to your DS at Ranger school.

Congratulations to your sons, NorwichDad and WestminsterDad, and best wishes for their unrecycled success in Ranger School. Theirs will be among the last classes to be all-male, at least for now. (I wonder if the people who call it "Man School" will change their name for it.)

In the meantime, if they are stuck in Ft. Benning and need to bulk up in anticipation of the substantial weight loss in Ranger School, they should plan to arrive regularly at the Popeyes on Dixie Road at 11:10 a.m. sharp. The store will been open just long enough for the excess grease to have drained from the freshly fried chicken, which will be crispy and hot, and the biscuits will be pleasantly edible.

Congratulations to the sons of NorwichDad and WestminsterDad.

I second EDelahanty's recommendation for Popeye's, that will surely put the weight back on.
