Is there a dance or not?

I thought that there was a dance this weekend for the cadets but now I am not sure which weekend it is???
I thought my son (a C4C) was taking a fellow cadet but now I am unsure as I cannot find any information about the dance or the correct weekend.
Can you please let me know.
I am curious- because I haven't been seeing any information on any of the sites about this.

There is a dance this weekend. It is celebrating the "birthday" of the Air Force. The actual date is 18 September, but as that is during the week it was moved forward. It is mandatory for 4*(they are usually the only attendees) and they must dress in service dress. They have to remain for a certain amount of time, "fundatory". From what I understand most go, stay for the minimum required time and then leave. It is not usually covered by webguy.
