If Admissions Isn't First In, First Out

DS has everything done except DoDMERB decision, CFA and math teacher letter. I think his file will look better in mid-November when new grades come out, new SAT scores are recorded and perhaps a new leadership position. Does anyone know how the admissions people deal with new, incoming info if the candidate has already been evaluated in a "preliminary" round? If math teacher submits his letter this weekend, DS's file will be ready to review, but they won't know about any new SAT scores, good first semester grades, etc. so it would seem he would be better off to wait to have his file reviewed.
