Hi!

My daughter was awarded this scholarship last week from Rep. Workman. Each district rep in Texas is allowed to give out one a year. Depending on the community in which you live, I would think that would be the biggest factor in how competitive it is to get.

Would you happen to have any stats on her that you could give me?

I am not sure which stats would be helpful. I think the kicker is each representative gets to pick his/her recipient. So, each representative's criteria is probably different (outside the basic good grades/fitness/leadership requirements). The personal interview is what will most likely clinch this scholarship.

Thats good to know, my academics and such are pretty good. But I think Im far better in a face to face than anything.
