Hold Status

Hi;
I'm new here.My son received hold/wait list letter from Capt. Johnson this past week. His application is complete. Has anyone heard what chances/odds he may have to gain an appointment? If not, does anyone know if anyone on the hold lst receives appointments to NMMI? Any information would be a great help. I went to law school so this process has been a great adventure for the both of us.

Sorry, harris2dog, but there really is no way of knowing. I can imagine the waiting game is excruciating, but hang in there and good luck!

I, as well, am also on hold status. The waiting is the worst part.

My son has been on hold since late January; the waiting is no fun.

my son was on hold until it changed on May 8th....

yeah, we had a back up plan in place, and I had already paid the back up plan's deposit too.

Then we used bubble wrap until the beginning of July to keep him safe from himself.

At least it isn't a "no thank you" letter! He's got two of those from SA's so far. My son got his USMMA "Hold Candidate" letter yesterday. I was encouraged that it says he is still competing for admission and should send in significant acheivements. Does anyone know how the "hold candidates" are ranked?
