Default Interesting news article concerning DoDMERB and waivers

This article was in the Wednesday 28JUN edition in the sports section. Has some interesting information, most pertains to recruited atheletes at USAFA, but the information may also be helpful for others as well.

Very interesting article. Thanks for posting that. RetNavyHM, I told a few kids about you and directed them here. I feel that you help so many & I don't think you realize how much you're appreciated here. Dodmerb has become such a scary monster to all academy applicants & you shed all kinds of light on the process. Thanks for being here!! Truly!

Uh, where were you a year ago when I needed you.

I was on the other end of the phone at DoDMERB! I realized once I retired just how much fun I was having answering questions from parents and applicants (except for the yelling and cursing ones ) while at DoDMERB. So here I am, to try to impart some of my knowledge and a few little tid-bits that I've picked up over the years.

Default Peanuts!

I have been dq'd for my Army ROTC scholarship and I am about to attack the waiver process. I was reading another posts and saw how helpful you are to others and I was wondering if you have any insights on my chances to get this allergy of mine waived. The peanut allergy is actually really mild, I can eat peanuts I just choose not to. :)

Words of advice? Encouragement?
