I just received my LOA from USMA. It said that I must turn in my CFA . I took my CFA last month and got these scores.
throw-76 ft pullups-10 shuttle-8.9 pushups-62 situps-78 mile-8:17 I was wondering that with my LOA, do I need to retake my scores or just leave it and turn them in? |

I agree with the previous post suggesting you attempt to improve your mile time. However, if your scores are sufficient for admission, I guess it's not truly necessary. Better scores just make you more competitive.

If you are a male, I would DEFINITELY improve your mile time. That's a failing mile time if you're a guy.

I'm a male. Based on the posts, I will improve my run time. I know the average is 6:43 but does anyone know a passing time?
Thanky you, usmahopeful |

Shoot for the 6:43 on the 1-mile run.
The minimums are not published. Even us FFRs don't know what they are! |

Remember that you mile time doubled plus about 20 seconds is your expected APFT run time. Anything over a 7:40 or so is really pushing the boundary. |

Couple more questions. Does having a LOA improve chances on becoming nominated by a MOC? And was there a case where a candidate got an LOA but got denied a nomination?
