I just noticed how the past 2 messages I have sent out did not appear in the sent items part of the inbox. I may have sent 2 messages to one person. This is kind of embarrassing.

May I try sending a test message to some to see whether they are actually receiving it?

You have to select the Save a copy of this message in your Sent Items folder in the Miscellaneous Options....It's below where you enter your PM text. Send me a pm if you would like to verify.

Miscellaneous Options:
Request a read receipt for this message
Save a copy of this message in your Sent Items folder.
Automatically parse links in text
Disable smilies in text

You can also set the default option to always save a copy in the sent folder:
