Thank you for the information.

I have just a couple questions.

The status changes began on last Thursday, Friday had the most activity. There were a few on Monday and only a couple on Tuesday.

I know that this forum is only a small sampling of all the applicants but it seems since nobody today has announced a status change that things seem to be completed in regard to offers.

With your statement above are you saying that CC is still in the process of making offers and applicants still waiting may still see their status change.

There are a lot of very anxious applicants posting here that thought the offer process has ended, I would hate to see them have false hope. If in fact CC is still making offers that would indeed be great news for those that are still waiting.

Thank you

Hey...who let Howard into our little party???

Have not been told that all the letters are sent yet, but usually we are the last to know. Will be pressing for that word soon, and will alert the masses once I hear.

Default 3rd Round Scholarship Offers

From what I can tell, offers began populating in the Cadet Command Information System around 14 April, that being said, letters usually follow around a week or so.

As of Friday, 23 April 2011, we were informed that all offers have been posted.

Talk to the ROOs

clarksonarmy - As for party crashing, I have Larry Mullen the DODMERB Guru to thank for recommending this forum during the ROO course last year. Since then, I've been here in more of a passive roll as this site has even assisted me as a ROO.

glad to have you aboard. This is a great place to help everyone out, and it's a good place to get a little visibility for you school and Battalion.

A little off topic but I have not received any offers or letters of rejection from CC but recently had to complete the DoDMERB. Does this mean I am being considered for a scholarship or just following procedure?

The final CC scholarships have been given.

The whole dodmerb thing has been a mystery. The upside of having the dodmerb completed early is that if you are selected for a campus scholarship you will be ready to contract right away and will not have to delay because of dodmerb. I would talk to the ROO at the school you are planning to attend and let them know that you have completed your dodmerb physical. Have you been notified as to whether you are qualified yet. If so let them know that as well. Who knows it may help in their decision if they have any campus scholarships to offer this year.

Good luck.

EDIT You won't receive a letter of rejection until after May when CC sends out the confirmation letters and receives back the accept or decline of offers from those awarded the scholarships this year.

Ok that helps. I got my DoDMERB packet 2 weeks ago and completed it last week. Its odd they would send that out while they are finishing up the selection process. I have recieved no word on anything. not good.

Log onto your dodmerb account and you can track the progress of the medical exam, it will soon show whether you are qualified or not or whether they are requesting a remedial. Kepp up with what they ask for so you can get it all taken care of before school starts. This was if there are any campus scholarships available and you can secure one you will be able to contract right away.

You won't get a rejection letter until all the scholarship offers have been accepted or declined, that will happen sometime in May. You may not get anything until June. All the offers have gone out from CC, there won't be anymore offers from CC. Any offers now will come in the form of campus scholarships if available, for information on how that process works, there are a couple threads just down the page a bit.

Good Luck

By campus scholarship do you mean an "in-school" scholarship? And would an ROO be any of the officers in the local ROTC program?
The university I am interested is a cross-town college to the local AROTC program.
