Percentage or (W)GPA?
My school recently changed our grading scale and we no longer have plus or minus grades and the percentage earned is now on the grade card. Does anyone know if the admissions office looks at strictly GPA (weighted or unweighted) or do they look at the percentage too? It seems to me that it inflates students who would have gotten a minus and deflates those who would have gotten a plus... a 100% is the same as a 92% Just curious. I'm sure that just looking at all of those applications and transcripts is a monumental task for the admissions staff.
