NMMI Prep Sponsership

Are there any deadlines regarding paperwork for NMMI. We were contacted last week and offered a NMMI Prep Sponsorship from USMMA and we were supposed to recieve a packet in the mail from Admissions. It's only been a week and we have not recieved anything but I was wondering about deadlines/time frames to submit paperwork, etc.

Hi! I got a Prep Scholarship to NMMI from USAFA and will be attending there this fall.
I got a phone call from them about 5 days after learning of my scholarship, confirmed my desire to attend there and had my packet in about 3 business days. Since then(about 3 weeks) I've received tons of stuff from them and am all set to go I think. Maybe give admissions a call and tell them NMMI is your prep school of choice and that might get the ball rolling

Please be patient. Unlike the cadets from the USNA, USAFA, or USMA that come here out of choice, the USMMA cadets are SENT here. Once the USMMA finalizes the numbers and informs us who have accepted the Prep Program, ALL will be accepted.

You can apply now if you like. We may have to change your residency and scholarship data later. It really makes no difference.


Bottom line: as a sponsored USMMA Prep - you will be accepted!
Count on it.

We will see you on 2 AUG. You will be getting more paperwork from us and from KP. It is very important to take the on-line math, chemistry, and physics placements tests seriously and give them your best effort.

Mr. Hanak- do all sponsored preps need to take these? I haven't heard anything about this yet...

Short answer: yes.

Better answer: You should (in about the third round of corresspondence) get a letter from the Registrar with the instructions for the tests and the website to go to. If, for some reason, you don't get the letter or take the tests at home, you will take them after you get here.
