LOA Questions

Dear Forum,

I've completed my file and sent my transcripts in. Does anyone know when the first LOAs might go out? Also, does that date vary by admissions region?

I believe I received mine at the end of July last year. However, they may be mailed earlier and many will be mailed in later months.

I received mine near the end of July. I would guess that is when the first few LOAs will go out.

They have them from my SLS application-but i actually haven't sent the official score reports. I thought we didn't need to. And yes they are above the minimum

DS received his LoA to USMA in July 2009. This was before the Portal was open. Early in July 2009 he received a phone call from one of the admissions officers asking him to get his high school transcripts faxed to admissions as he was being considered for an LoA. Shortly after they received his transcripts he got an LoA in the mail. Bear in mind that things can change from year to year. Remember that most people will not receive an LoA so don't get caught up in worrying about an LoA.

They need official scores.

yep, everything's in: official score reports, transcripts, the whole nine yards. I guess it's a waiting game now.

On another note, when should we hear from DoDMERB?
