Here is a gift to you plebes from a firstie: (or is this for plebe moms?)

Accessing the West Point Network (accessing CIS for grades, signing out, email via Outlook, etc)

Step 1: Log into your computer using CAC (ID Card)
Step 2: Open Cisco VPN Client
Step 3: Press Connect Button
• You will be prompted to enter your PIN number. This is the same number that you log in with. Credentials are already set on VPN Client. Do not mess with anything or you will not be able to log in.
Step 4: When prompted, select continue (something will come up about West Point being a secure network)
Step 5: You are now connected to the West Point Network, and can access everything as you normally would at West Point.

Cadet says it should be there; keep looking. I am assuming you set it up properly before you left WP, right?

Class of 2015 doesn't have the Cisco client I think.

However you're able to set up a VPN client and login using your CAC card using windows. Search "VPN" in the start menu...

The only issue is I don't know the IP address >.< Does anyone else have it set up or can provide the right IP address?

I'm in the same boat as you. Looking for TEE grades...

Guys and gals - should all this stuff be on a public forum? I know it doesn't get anyone in, but it does make it easier to hack.

There are detailed directions for access in a document on West Point Moms (facebook group). If your mom is a member, get her to access the info for you there. There is a different set of directions for 2015.

Am I the only one that thinks it is kind of funny that cadets have to go to their Mom's to find out how to access the computer system at USMA?

I'm a Dad... but I'm sure my bride would say that all her boys have to go to her for everything. 8-)
