High School Junior/Air Force Cadet Hopeful

I recently decided at the beginning of the year that I wanted to apply to air force. I had been leaning towards Coast Guard but once I learned about how great the engineering was at Air Force I began to lean more in that direction. I must admit that I am a little intimidated by the statistics being posted on here. I am about to submit my application to the summer seminar so any helpful ideas as to what to include would be great!

My DS went to SS last summer. He said it was very informative. Give as much info as you can about leadership that you've provided, and of course your GRADES! It's been said by some that the competition to get accepted to the SS is worse than it is for getting an appointment. I doubt it, but that's what some have said. Regardless though, by applying for the SS you'll be ahead of the game on your paperwork...Good Luck!
