Med school after NROTC

I have heard some stuff about a certain number of NROTC kids can go directly into medical school after getting their undergraduate degree. Does anyone know anything about this? I'm applying for USNA, but would be interested in NROTC if I could apply to medical school afterward. Of course, I would be willing to take the chance of going into aviation or surface before hand, but I would just like to know details. Thanks.
