Default How much is the Prep School Scholarship "worth"?

My DD's high school counselor asked her how much the USAFA Prep School scholarship was "worth". I told her "PRICELESS"... but I guess the counselor is looking for a dollar amount. Anyone have an accurate dollar amount for the Prep School?

Default Laptop... Bring or not to bring?

There's a ton of free time at the prep school. I've managed to watch two 26 episode TV series over the course of 2-3 days and beat a 50+ hour game in a week. Still made Dean's List every quarter and got an appointment. But if you have a problem focusing, then don't bring your own personal electronics that you know will distract you.
I know the C/Cs will be loaned a laptop... In the 2013 instructions, "Cadet Candidates will be issued laptop computers at the conclusion of BMT. Cadet Candidates will have access to email and the internet at that time. Personal laptops may be used by Cadet Candidates at the Prep School Commander’s discretion, but WILL NOT be connected to the government network/Wi-Fi. We recommend you DO bring a personal computer."

BRING OR NOT TO BRING... BUY OR NOT TO BUY... THAT is the question.

Default PT shoes

On the packing list, it says that if you have foot issues you can bring your own running shoes. I have very narrow, flat feet. Some brands (like nike) tend to run narrow and work pretty well, combined with the insoles that I plan on bringing. Does anybody know what brand the Prep school issues us? I know it's pretty random information, but anything helps!
