I applied for an Army ROTC scholarship, and did an interview in late January.

When will I find out that I got accepted for one or even rejected?

We are all expecting to hear from the March board somewhere around Mar22.
Begin to check your application status to see if it changes.

so what happens if my application status doesn't change? what does that mean[/QUOTE

if you see your status change from "have an interview with a PMS" to checking status with DoDMERB then that is a good change. It means an offer of some kind is coming. It will take a few more days to show which school or schools you were awarded the scholarship to.
If you don't see a change , don't give up. There is another board in April.
Good luck.

Seeing your status change IS a good thing. It was Cadet Command's intent (as explained recently at Fort Monroe) to send only those applicants that will get an offer to DODMERB for physicals. However, for several reasons this year, some applicants whose files were selected to be REVIEWED were sent to DODMERB for physicals.

Regardless, we are quickly approaching the end of the boards. Do yourself a favor and contact the programs at the schools you are interested in (notice the plural) and ask them about the availability of Campus Based Scholarships. Be prepared, this years scholarship applicants are many and very competitive. Keep you chin up and good luck!
