Hey everyone! sorry for the long title...

I have a little bit of a dilemma. I was selected for USMA SLS, USAFA SS, and GA Boys State. I will also be attending a soccer camp at the USAFA. But, I will only be able to do 3 out of the 4 things that I was planning to do due to the dates that conflict. Which ones will look best on my application for when I apply for USAFA and USMA next year? I want to play soccer in college, but I think the summer seminar camps will give me a heads up of what the Academies are like. I believe going to Boys State will look very good on my application, but I want the chance to meet with the USAFA coach to maybe get a spot on the team.

Does anyone have any suggestions on what I should do? Thanks for the help!:thumb:

Boys State looks very good on applications. I think I heard that the summer seminars do not look that good.

Here's my 2 cents. When I told my liason that I had gotten into the AFA SS, he said it was good news, because just about everyone he had known that went to the SS had gotten into the academy. I'm sure it's probably the same with WP. Maybe Steve can help

Boys state is apparently equal to eagle scout. For the other three I would do what you want but going to boys state for a week and basically getting credit for being an eagle scout is pretty awesome.

I applied and was appointed to both USMA and USAFA and attended West Point SLS and USAFA SLS along with Boys' State, in my opinion I would attend the three that i attended because the sports camp doesn't matter too much. Boys' State is considered an honor by every school so I would attend that for sure, then I rank West Point's Summer Seminar, then the Airforce Seminar

Boys & Girls State

I would highly recommend you attend Boys State if given the opportunity. For the other choices, pick according to your desires.
