Hello. I just found the site, and am thrilled. My son has an appointment to the USAFA and is "wait listed" at the USNA. I'm a proud mom with lots of questions! I look forward to reading all the good info on these pages.
 
son's preference...?

Did your son express an academy preference ( Air Force, USNA, West Point, etc.) before the board at his nomination interview? Is it good to state a first choice up front, and what if one is torn between two academies such as USNA and West Point? Any advice as to how this should be handled before the board at the nomination interview? Please share how all of you approached this issue. Thanks.

Who did he rec'd his nominations from? I am also from NC.
